My new youngster Shiva, 4-year-old Dutch Warmblood

I bought Shiva last week. He was baked two months ago and has just started to work with me this week and is going very well. My aim is to produce him as an eventer, so we'll start dressage and show-jumping competitions this winter and he should be ready to go eventing in the spring.

Sahara

Sahara is a 5-year-old mare, Irish sport horse. She is very green as she has been backed recently but is improving and should start a more advanced work very soon :

Macsence and Scruffy at work

Macsence is a lovely 12-year-old mare, who can be a bit stiff and above the bit. I ride her before teaching her owner with her, that helps to keep her more easily in a proper shape. They have both, horse and rider, improved a lot on the flat and jumping!

Scruffy is a 7-year-old pony, he's still green as he mainly hacked until now. I school him to help his young rider to keep him under control. They start being very confident in the three paces!

CIC* at Somerford Park with Junon

No video of the dressage, anyway it was a real underachievement which cost me to miss an other great place in CIC...
But a great show jumping, in a good rhythm as Junon like it, just a bit too bold in the triple. And an excellent cross country :)

Second jumping lesson for Breeze

We start with some pole work, Breeze is doing well and carefully. Then one cross :
And to finish we have a one stride double to teach her jumping in canter:
She had a few poles down but in the end as you can see she jumped really well for only a second time :)

CATTON PARK OPEN NOVICE 19/06/11

A good event with my mare, dressage could have been better but still ok, good show-jumping with one down ( a bit undeserved!) and good clear cross country. A good preparation for Hutton CIC*!

Chicco, Connemara pony, 7 year-old.

Chicco is a Connemara pony, 7 year-old, I found him specially for one of my clients' daughter. He has a great jump but hadn't been schooled properly until I start the work with him. He's starting to work on the bit in the three paces, is improving for the bend and responsiveness to the aids. I also teach his young owner with him.

Me and Chicco

One happy girl and her pony :)

This is now a video of a jumping training :

Breeze at work

On this video, Breeze is warming-up in walk, trot, canter. She was baked this winter and is improving with consistency, starting to accept a nice even contact with the bit, bending around inner leg, responding to basic aids... She's a nice 4-year-old Irish Sport Horse, 16h2, very athletic, I'm looking forward to starting jumping.

Dressage at home (Flying changes) with Junon

Flat work at home, with my mare. The last two flying changes are the best two!
